About Us

Dear Visitor!

Our organisation keeps important that the local environment will be renovated and protected. We think cultural saving and broadcasting of the reached and protected results, memories and values are basic social needs in the local area and everywhere.

In 2019, we got an important progress when our first book, which name is "Jewish Winemaker Dynasties in Tapolca" has been released in english and hungarian version. Last year 2021 we placed nine stolpersteins on certain parts of the Main Square of Tapolca.

Our present project's main purpose is the completion of the renovation of the Old Synagogue.

Our Dream

"The way I see the future in dream is that the big synagogue will active without the building what built around this. I want upgrade the Lessner's cellar system to a huge wine museum, in addiction I would like form an accomodation of our guests the building in front of us."

Projects

Our biggest and most important project is the renovation of the Old Synagogue of Tapolca, in addiction creation of a cultural complex what not only in this region, but also in national or secular level could stand. But the stolperstein placement gets a featuring role too beside other things, for example guided tours (our CULtours).

Places

One of our featured places is the Lessner's cellar system what located in 1706 m² under the ground, the Frisch-cellar beside immediately the Mill Pond, the Old Synagogue and Jewish Graveyard of Tapolca.
